Gris C. couldn't help but share her enthusiasm, exclaiming how "delicious" the avocado toast was—something that has become a crowd favorite. So delicious!!!! I usually love going hiking and trying different places around the area. I love breakfast so I searched and found this place. The girls were friendly and welcoming, cute little spot.......but OMG! The avocado toast was delicious and coffee as well by far the best I've ever had, I am definitely returning.

Definitely feels like "My Place" as you enter the cafe. Cute, quaint, and lots of personality. It definitely does not have a big-franchise vibe and you can feel the love and hard work that went into this shop. For my first visit, I came here for the açaí and the Mexican mocha. I absolutely loved the Mocha; the hint of cinnamon really brought out the flavors. I wish that they had put my coffee in a cute mug, especially because they knew I was dining in, but not a big deal. The açaí was big! You can pick which base you want, along with toppings which some cost additional. Comes with lots of berries, granola, and I got bananas and chia seeds added. Personally it was a bit too much for me, and I wish it had more granola to ration the base. For my second visit I tried their turkey sausage croissant sandwich, and added avocado and bell peppers. Very generous sandwich definitely keeps your tummy full. I also had to get their Mexican coffee again, this time I got to pick out a mug! After my first sip, I noticed that it tasted different from my last visit. Unfortunately they messed up my order and she had to re-make it. No biggie, mistakes happen, and I got my corrected drink. The owner is such a sweetheart. We chatted for a bit and she told me how she started the cafe shortly before covid, and how they managed to keep the business going. You can tell that there's a lot of love that goes into My Place Cafe. A nice spot to bring some work and spend an hour or two. Plenty of parking on the rear side of the cafe. Definitely worth a visit :)

This should be the model for all coffee shops. Incredibly friendly staff, amazing coffee and food, and the ambience is so inviting. All around amazing!

Friendly staff, friendly owner, yummy food, very quaint and homey place. Got the salmon bagel sandwich with the jalapeno cheddar bagel, and the green tea smoothie. Menu is mostly breakfust/brunch, drinks, and desserts. Just be aware that their peak times are Saturday Lunch. Seating indoors and outdoors. It was great coming here after hiking in Altadena. Will come again.

Such a cute place! Gives me "going to grandma's house" vibes! The staff were so warm and welcoming and it just added to the atmosphere. I had the build your own breakfast sandwich, which essentially consists of you picking out how you want your sandwich to be prepared and all the works! I had the turkey sausage & egg with no cheese, on croissant with spinach, tomato, and avocado. It was sooo good! Also grabbed a vanilla latte to wash it all down! Definitely will be coming back!

This is $10.50. Super stingy on the lox. Does it taste good? Yes it does, but not worth $10.50. It's a 3 star bagel. Everything bagel should not have fennel seeds or sunflower seeds. I thought NY Style bagel was made like a traditional NY style bagel. It turns out it's just a bagel and cream cheese. Really nice staff. Would come back to try out something else.

From the first day I stepped into My Place Cafe, LaTonya (owner) has made me feel welcome and special. She makes it a point to remember the names of her guests and is always upbeat. We've now made it a point to visit My Place Cafe on a weekly basis and we see the same faces again and again. I love the mocha iced coffee and mixed berry oatmeal, sometimes I add banana, sometimes I add walnuts. It's a cozy spot with some indoor seating and lots of outdoor seating. The cafe likes to host music events and poetry readings, I even went to a comedy night in the upstairs yoga studio. Always lots going on, and LaTonya and the staff always have room to welcome new faces and friends. I feel very fortunate to have My Place Cafe in my neighborhood and can easily click on five stars.

This is a cute little cafe I happened upon after hiking in the area. I really enjoyed the decor and overall feeling of the cafe. It was like stepping into someone's home. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and an iced Mexican mocha. The Mexican mocha was tasty although it did taste as if it was one of those instant mixes (nothing against that, I love those!). I was surprised at how good the sandwich was. I decided to do a croissant with Turkey sausage and added spinach, fresh tomato, and fresh cucumber. Very yummy and pretty filling. The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is because of the pricing. The drinks are average price, comparable to Starbucks. The sandwich pricing was a little wonky. For a drink, sandwich, plus tip I paid around $19-20. They advertise toppings at an additional charge of 50¢ but when I reviewed my receipt it was actually 52¢. This was for a few slices of cucumber and tomato. I wasn't expecting to pay THAT much but alas. I would definitely return because the taste was great but just be aware of the little fees sprinkled in.

Stumbled into this cafe while passing through and so glad we did!! It's the most inviting atmosphere with art all over the walls and makes you feel like you're being welcomed into somebody's cozy home. Plenty of seating both in and outside in a cute artsy covered tunnel. The service was friendly and prompt. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, which my friend said was absolutely delicious, a chocolate chip cookie which I loved and some drinks. My chai tea latte with vanilla & oatmilk was a solid 10/10. Highly recommend this spot!!

Super cute little cafe! There's not a ton of places to sit, but it's quite cozy and comfortable. And there's a yoga studio upstairs--amazing! I had a small chai tea latte with oat milk. It was okay--a bit light on the chai flavor, which I tend to prefer on the stronger side.
